Sorry to hear that Mork, but it seems the chances to win have gone up a 500% now for the rest of us. :D
Great job as usual, very interesting stuff. Thanks for sharing it regardless!

Hi,
here is my mix.
I worked in the lead sounds just with a little delay, because I did not want to get the mix too muddy.

But the drums got a tempo delay after the first third to get a bit more "rolling".

Hi guys and thanks for having me. It's my first time here. Great little song, which turned out to be quite a challenge for me.

I tried to keep the midrange prominent in the mix, as autumn, to me, is about midrange - with the increasing wind making a white noise, passing through the trees with their drying leaves  . I struggled to not end up with a scooped out mix (no midrange), so I picked certain instruments and molded them to push midrange into the song, helped by midrangey delays. I'm not sure I succeeded but it was certainly fun!

Plug-ins I used that made the most impact:
- d16 Repeater
- iZotope Trash2
- Kuassa Amplification Creme
- Softube Tonelux Tilt / Eiosis AirEQ
- DAW automation

I sure hope these are downloadable (I'm not a Dropbox expert):

I tried to add some more groove to this one.
So the snare needed some 1/8. delay from iZotopes DDL Delay.
Just channelstrip and some panning automations were used.
Some bitcrusher on the percussion, thats all.

Yep, nice mix Monk ;)

I don't know exactly how to feel with regards to what consists to be "re-arranging". I ended up doing quite a bit to my bass and drums, but only using plugins and automation. In fact, one of the ones I used - Automaton by Audio Damage - is not predetermined. So I printed about a dozen mixes and picked my favourite. Normally I would have spliced my favourites together but I wanted to avoid "re-arranging". I also had at one time a version with a 30 second or so ending that consisted of super chorused and delayed reverb tails massively crushed past the noise floor. But it felt a little too indulgent.

What? I am not everywhere and please don't make me look like I know what I'm doing. I'm just a simple home guy with an iLok and 2 cats!

Kevin, on the other hand, is everywhere and he can beat anyone, especially when there is a bass involved! :baytins:
