I'm sorry that you were much too late to include your mix.
For competitions, next time.. Please present everything on time.

Your mix is not to specifications of loudness.
The volume really is much too loud, also in comparision to the other mixes sent in.

That means, even though you are disqualified for sending in an .mp3 over the deadline time,
you are disqualified for seriously not matching the loudness specifications.

Although you fixed it the next day and this private google link is a common mistake that is hard to overcome,
you still are disqualified.

I would like to include your mix in the mini-album release with the Round 2 mixes however,
because I was seriously impressed with the great listening experience that other people may also have with your mix.

Comments about each mix:

1. Andrey Benassi
This mix is perfect on spot.
Very subtle use of creative effects, keeping the original track in regard.
Everything is in place. Love the way every element has been treated, especially the snare drum.

2. Davias
This mix is very well done. A lot of creative effect use. Good gainstaging in the intro.
I like the punch in the (compression of the) kick drum and the bass synth.
The octaver on the synth tracks somehow made the track sound too different from the original,
it could have been mixed in more subtly, now it almost completely replaces the original synth.
The open hihat sounds just a little bit muffled.

3. Alberto Godinez / maxovrdrive
Another beautiful mix. Some of the original grooves have changed, overall the mix sounds very good.
The mix sounds very vivid, bright, and not too much. A nice balanced mix.
You can also nicely hear each separate element in the mix.
Love the way the snare is treated.

4. Zajus
This mix is wonderful. Beautiful gainstaging and mix of tracks. A surprisingly sophisticated mix.

5. Alex Van Mixland
This mix is excellent. Very good treatment of all sounds and a very good glued together sound.
Overall the sound color is a bit too wooly, and on big sound the kick has too much bass.

6. MFTWC
This mix is good.
The intro is sounding a bit too compressed somehow. Maybe it's just the drums only in the intro.
The overall sound color of the mix is good.
The hihats sounds good, and there is quite heavy but good use of creative effects.

7. House Of Valley / rvalle
This mix is well done.
Still missing some of the staccato 1 2 3 4 synth strokes.
The intro doesn’t grab the full sound impression that it could get.
The backing synths are a bit soft, behind the lead which is much louder.

8. "Pistol" Pete Heinz
This mix also is beautiful, and very distinctive.
Some synths sounding completely different, very well effected in spaciality and sound coloring.
This mix has a lot more momentum than the original created within the mix and is very vivid.
The overall way the sounds have been treated is unique, distinctive, but
sounds like a less common way of mixing for typical electronic dance music.
Some synths are really blended in the back and space, where they may have been more fronted.

9. Antoine Lavault
This mix is beautiful too. Very good work, spatially enhancing the synthesizers.
The overall sound is maybe too intense, has a lot of bass,
and frequencies are fighting for room a bit (maybe multiband compression?).

10. Studio Equator
This mix is beautiful. The sound of the original was changed, and it was done well.
Also, there were good regards to the comments after Round 1.
On big sound, the levels are pumping too much, with a lot of decibels, on many of the elements.
The mix seemed to start out nice, but later the pumping effect is too much, and with too much level.
 
11. Greg Gibson
The overall sound color of the intro is giving a bit too bassy / muddy / muffled impression at first,
that may be just in style of a really old fashioned house track.
The bass has been treated well and has good pronounciation.
Overall the sound color of the mix is too warm and is missing some clarity in the synths,
there is not enough groove and staccato momentum within all synth stabs.

12. Doobop
This mix sounds as if it's recorded with a microphone from the speakers?
Something, maybe reverb, very oddly coloring the whole mix. Can't really hear the hihat.
Some special processing to get a more live sound, which might not be the best match for a complete trance track.
Might be more suitable for a single acoustic instrument instead of a whole mix.

DQF. ZEECK / FromAtoZmix
This mix is beautiful. Love the work put to the synthesizer and bass pronounciations.
The closed hihat is now mixed in Really Loud, just within limits,
and the open hihat seems to be missing at some points, the mix is done really wonderful.
