Mix Challenge

I will judge this edition... (so it won't be stuck at "in evaluation" ) for more than a few days

In my mind, this mix didn’t need any ”mastering” other than loudness adjustment. My ears didn’t find anything to complain.

But I quess I had to do something to participate, so here’s what I did:
- with dynamic eq I softened a bit snare hits
- to add some more retro sound I narrowed a bit stereo-field above 10 K hz
- just for sure I made low-end mono under 100 hz (but I didn’t hear any relevant difference)
- automated reverb to add a bit more room to snare in silent parts
- bass level adjustment in soft part
- some stereo width automation between different parts of the song.
- loudness control to make it -12 LUFS with true pead -1dB

I loved this Song it could have gone on for hours. Lovely, lovely Synhts <3

For this Track I used a Linear Eq to carve gently here and there. Nothing drastically, just a little touch always with the upcoming compression in mind. On the Compression side i choose a MS option which creates a wonderful wideness on the Sides. I really hope you enjoy this.

The plugins I choose where the Waves Linear Eq, the Elysia Alpha Compressor, Waves Meters (All kind of their fancy stuff Frequency,Meter,Loudness ...)

What i did is just boost low end a bit +2/2.5db - remove unwanted mid range honkiness around 400/500 hz
add saturation and higher harmonics around 1-3k just 1/2db - multiband compression and limiter .

-Vaporwaves Version :Just slow tempo and key down .. I hope you like it .
